The Burden of the Lord

Prophecy Given To

O' Jerusalem: by Christian artist Greg Olsen
This is My Burden that I am laden with, that of Babylon. Thus saith the Lord, I reveal this unto those who have ears to hear. I shall come and gather My people 3 1/2 times a season. The earth is ripe and full of Babylon; she is found throughout the earth. I have looked and seen and her irons and hooks have ensnared My people. Unto her gods do you sacrifice; you align and vow your allegiance with parallel to your very souls. You have hooks in your souls for that which you have given your eternal destiny.

Isaiah 13:6-8
6 Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.
7 Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt:
8 And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.

My people that I will gather at the time of 3 1/2 times a season cleanse yourselves for the battle is at hand. Come unto the Holy of Holies without the rope nor cling to another to retreat to. For My eyes do see and what I see is the heart of My beloved ones. Come and be in my presence. Come before the throne and be cleansed, repent, and receive my hands that were pierced for you. The stripes that are for you I paid the price. I laid down My Life so you could live and be found clean and forgiven. Do you think I am a harsh God? Woe unto those who would toss aside my sacrifices, like those of a bloody rag. My love pours out from My veins from the cross. Hear, those who have ears to hear. My voice will be like that of the trumpet that calleth all of those who respond to the call of the virgin.

Set your attire to that of the marriage feast. I am ready for My bride. The groom calleth to His beloved. In the Holy of Holies is where you will find me. I have many things to tell you. I have songs to sing to you. I have wooed you and you have played the harlot. You have gone from Me. You have troubled Me, I have wept and mourned for those who have turned back to their wicked ways.

My people I will gather"

I have sent My prophets; you have scourged them with persecutions. I have sent the intercessors; they pray and you received, and you return to the mire of the pigs. I have sent the pastors; you have hated them and given them the voice of that of a mime. I have given you the evangelist; unless he prays and puffs himself up with the numbers of the saved, numbers healed, reports of monies received, you will not give. You give only to those who you can benefit from. Repent unless your monies turn to destroy you and consume you with the same veracity. Give to the needy, give to the missionary, give to all those who go about doing My work. Give unto the widow, give unto the lonely. Give My heart unto My people. Feed, clothe My loved ones. Give so I can give more, love so the love of God can be shed abroad in your hearts. Those who flinch in the battle are not worthy of Me. For 3 1/2 times a season will come; are you ready? Are you prepared, for My trumpet shall sound with the glorious sound? The battle lines are drawn and the countdown has started. The heavens will be shaken and the constellations will fall, the land will quake and fall into the sea. The rumble of evil has taken the land.

I will save thee. Oh, come unto the Holy of Holies and bow the knees. Strengthen your weak hearts, lift thy eyes unto Me. Dry thy tears for I am here. My voice you will hear. Then, in the Day of My power you will be willing. For I call each and every one to come and receive forgiveness, love, and to be counted as My sanctified, mighty ones. Lift up your voice. Exalt the one who calls you, who is faithful and who will do it. Go into the gates as nobles, I have commanded you, be faithful and quick to obey.

I have mustered the host of the battle to come. Isaiah 12:2,3: Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is My strength and My song; he also is become my salvation. 2. Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. 3. Come unto My cross. The trumpet has sounded the call, the heavens are shaken, only the redeemed will I call for My host. Choose whom you are to serve this day be it the Lord Jehovah or the burden of Babylon.

Choose Ye This Day!"

Times And Seasons

This prophecy is straightforward and leaves little to be deciphered to anyone who knows the Word. But for those who are unfamiliar with the Bible and the book of Daniel in particular, the pertinent verses are given below. The three and a half times come from Daniel's prophetic utterances in chapters 7 and 12.

Daniel 7:25
25
And he (the Antichrist) shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. (KJV)

Daniel 12:7
And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished. (KJV)

In both places the use of "time" as a set period or an appointment with destiny is clearly denoted. It is a fixed period of time or a season, that is, a space of time defined by an associated term. In this case the fixed period is technically one year according to Strong's Concordance and the associated term is "time." (See also Vine's Expository dictionary.) Therefore, the plural word "times" is the doubling of a year which when added to "a time" becomes three years. Half a "time" or half a year added to that would therefore be 3 1/2 years.1

This analysis reveals the meaning of "3 1/2" in the title as given by the Holy Spirit to Jeannette. The reason the Lord specified this Biblical prophetic utterance of a fixed period of time was a signal as to what it is that is burdening the Lord in this prophecy. He is speaking about the two halves of the Tribulational period of 7 years in Daniel's 9:27 oracle from the Lord. Briefly, it reports that in the midst of the week -- the seven years remaining to fulfill the prophecy of verses 9:24-27 -- the "willful king" (Daniel 11:3) will stop the sacrifices in the temple which will have been rebuilt in the first part of his reign. The mid-part of 7 years is 3 1/2 years, and Jesus prophesied that the Abomination of Desolation would be set up in the midst of the week exactly like the book of Daniel says. (Matthew 24:15 with Daniel 9:27) Thus there are two "seasons" of a fixed period and 31/2 specifies the amount of time "a season."

The Burden of the Lord

The burden of this prophecy is the load that the Lord is carrying. He speaks to this in the very opening words. He says it is "My burden." It is His, the Lord's burden, which is the heavy load of this prophecy. A burden means "that which is borne," a load, or a hardship. It is used in Scripture to prophesy the heavy spiritual load -- a prophecy of judgment or doom, -- which a person or a nation carries. When the Scripture speaks of the burden of a place, such as the burden of Moab, the burden of Damascus, the burden of Egypt, the burden of Ninevah, et al., it is referring to the destruction or judgment the one specified in the burden will have to bear at the decreed time in history. In this prophecy the Lord is consigning the burden to Himself. He is bemoaning what has happened to His church. Babylon has filled the earth with her delicacies and Jesus' bride has been enamored and ensnared by her commerce. Mammon, music, travel, pleasure-seeking, empire building, etc. has consumed the people of God. They have sacrificed unto the gods of this world by desiring and emulating worldly ways.

In saying "you align and vow your allegiance with parallel to your very souls," the Lord is pointing out that the church has indiscriminately been doing the same things that unbelievers do. The behavior of the church "parallels" or "aligns" that of the world. Of the 18 evil, endtime, behavioral characterizations of people listed in 2 Timothy 3:2-4, there are four which clearly could be said of the Church - lovers of self, lovers of money, lovers of pleasure, and pride. This is perhaps what the Lord meant by the phrase "parallel to your very souls." Believers in conforming to secular worldly ways have endangered their very own souls.

Rock concerts held by supposedly Christian rock groups leave very little that is not done in secular rock concerts. The mesmerizing strobe lights are there. The salacious platform behaviors are there. The dress is the same. The rhythmic music is the same, and it all communicates to the soul, not the spirit. Theme parks and variety shows, retreats and sports, TV fantasies and movies, fun, frolic, and play has captivated even the strongest of believers today. In conforming to the world many Christians have been enticed away from spending time with the Lord reading, meditating, and studying His Word. There are "hooks in their souls." Worldliness has jeopardized the status of men with God. According to the Word of the Lord in this prophecy, men and women's "eternal destinies" are at stake because of the unholy soulish choices being made. This is the burden of the Lord and He laments the coming destruction of His church. (Revelation 17:16)

The Spirit of the Lord quotes Isaiah 13:6-8 to emphasize the seriousness of the situation. He said "Howl, for the day of the Lord is at hand; it shall come as destruction from the Almighty." In other words the time for the two 3 1/2 seasons to purge the earth of its Babylonish system is upon us. In fact, He said it has begun and few people are ready. Few are paying attention to the prophets' call for repentance and cleansing in order to be prepared for the marriage feast. The Lord said He is "ready for His bride." He indicated that we ought to know where to find Him -- in the Holy of Holies, -- the place of purity where uncleanness cannot come. He has sent prophets, evangelists, pastors, and intercessors to inform the bride that the time is at hand. Jesus is about ready to blow the trumpet and "gather" those who have prepared themselves to the wedding. The others who do NOT have ears to hear will have to remain for the terrible destruction from the Almighty. The Holy Spirit has minced no words in describing the awfulness of that "3 1/2 times a season" in numerous passages of the Old Testament. But too many of God's people are paying no heed to what the prophets of scripture have said. Jeannette reported to me that during the prophetic utterance she had a minivision of pastors on podiums mouthing words without sound. This could mean that the spoken messages have been empty of relevant content about Jesus and His Second Coming or that they have been warning about the coming judgment to apathetic sleeping people who have not been listening. No wonder the Spirit called the pastor's "voice that of a mime."

Exodus 32:26 "...Who is on the LORD'S side?

The Lord said that "the battle lines are drawn and the countdown has started." This is probably the reason He used the 3 1/2 times a season as the title. It was an indication that the countdown He is referring to within the body text of this prophecy is the prophesied one of Daniel. Jesus is ready to come for His bride in order to rescue them from the twin seasons of 3 1/2 times, i.e., the Great Tribulation of seven years. The Lord is giving a wakeup call. Could it be the midnight cry of the Parable of the Ten Virgins in Matthew 25? Only five virgins were ready. Those who listen and heed instructions will repent of worldly attitudes and practices.

The Worldly Church

The one outstanding feature of the endtime Laodicean church is that she is rich and increased with goods and ha(s) need of nothing. Jesus counciled her to buy gold tried in the fire. (Revelation 3:17,18) Could He have been alluding to Job's fiery trial in which he said: ...he knoweth the way that I take...(and after) he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold." (Job 23:10) Considering Jesus spoke of buying gold tried in the fire, it appears as if He wants us to be like-minded to Job and suffer the loss of worldly things in order to cleanse ourselves and purify our attitudes. The rich Laodicean church has been consumed with giving and receiving. In itself this is commendable yet Jesus had nothing good to say about this church. Perhaps it is because its motivations have been wrong. According to this prophecy giving has been on the basis of the numbers reported, of money received, of people helped, of the "tokens" given to the giver, etc. The Lord indicates He wants a change. We've been told that if a ministry doesn't show signs of fruit it isn't fertile ground. Yet some fruit is rotten at the core even though polished and appetizing on the surface. The widow down the street, the homeless orphan, 2 or the alien by your side may be the only one you are called upon to help. You say how can this one person produce much fruit? God can make that "one" fertile ground for you. It may be that the fruit will follow you to heaven. The intimidation factor, which says grandiose denotes fertility, belies counterfeit gods who pose as instruments of righteousness; and the gimmick factor, which entices with immediate reward in the way of "tokens" given based upon how much one gives, has distorted our judgment. The Lord said to repent and sanctify ourselves with cleansed hearts and He will receive us.

The means for entering the "gates as nobles" is to be "faithful and quick to obey." God will settle for nothing less than all of you. Anyone who does not give unconditionally his/her all to Jesus does not deserve to be part of the bride. Is it not true that marriage connotes giving one's all to the other? God will accept you as a citizen in His kingdom, but for His bride He is looking for those who display deep devotion to Him and who will "draw water out of the wells of salvation with joy!" It is noteworthy that the Lord said that we must choose whether "we will serve the Lord Jehovah or the burden of Babylon." Either we will repent of the Babylonish syndrome and preach the gospel with daily godly living or we will continue to follow the way of the doomed Laodicean church for which Jesus had nothing good to say.

The Blood: Jesus and the cross
The latter day church has been eliminating the blood slowly but consistently from its liturgy. Some of the new versions of the Bible have taken the blood out completely. 3 Methodist Hymnbooks have washed the blood from its pages, and some people go so far as to say that the blood was only a word to signify the spiritual death of Jesus.

This teaching makes it easy for closet unbelievers to remove the blood with the surreptitious motivation of not offending the sensibilities of delicate souls.

The Lord clearly spoke that to "toss aside His blood sacrifices" is to ruin and distort the message of the cross. He said His "love pours out from (His) veins from the cross," and He told Jeannette that the bloody sacrifices the people were tossing aside were in the same genre as those of Isaiah 64:6. 4 What an upbraiding to a church that wants things neat and proper! The stripes Jesus took upon His body were a bloody mess and we are to tell the world what He went through to pay the price so we can live eternally with a Holy God. We had best repent of being disgusted with the blood. Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin (Hebrews 9:22).

Leviticus 17:11
11
For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. (KJV)

From the Leviticus passage above we see that it is the blood that counts in atonement for the souls of men. We'd better heed the Lord's warning regarding repentance from a cavalier attitude about the blood of Jesus. Note:

29
Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? (KJV)

One can see that the Holy Bible speaks of punishment accompanying the scorning of the blood. This ought to sober and cause us to rethink our position about the blood. Especially with the warning given in this prophecy. Hold fast dear brother/sister to your position in Christ as part of His bride. Don't toss aside the blood. Having entered the sanctuary of the Holy of Holies cut the cord to the world. Don't return without the veil. Burn your bridges to Babylon and don't retreat nor cling to those who would tell you "all is well." Respond to the clear clarion call of our Lord to the marriage feast. Put on your garments of praise and holiness without which no one shall attend the wedding and get ready for the trumpet to blow. Hopefully we shall meet up with you at the banquet table of our marriage feast with Jesus.

The Dividing of Time

1 See Revelation 11:2 and 13:5 wherein the time 42 months refers to the same period as the "31/2 times a season." See also Revelation 11:3 and 12:6 wherein the time a thousand two hundred and threescore days refers to the same period also. Since Revelation is the New Testament account or the unveiling of what constitutes the seven year period of the Great Tribulation, we can know that the Lord is speaking about the coming inevitable wrath of God on an unbelieving world and that this prophecy given to Jeannette is explaining God's lamentation over the unchangeable spoken Word of judgment which will overtake His beloved church because it will not repent of playing the harlot with all the religions of the world. Furthermore, it grieves the Lord that the church is taking delight in consorting with Mystery Babylon...the Mother of Harlots (Revelation 17:5). The planned United Religions of the World coming out of the Parliament of Religions, which began in 1893 and met last in 1993, will be headquartered in Vatican City. Hence, the burden of Babylon encompasses the church and becomes the "Burden of the Lord." (This)
