The Message of The Cross

The cross's original message of salvation through Jesus has penetrated the darkest places of satan's kingdom including the strongest of prisons withholding the light, China and Islamism. China has experienced tens of millions come to Jesus in the last couple of decades, and millions of Muslims have reported supernatural experiences, to wit, personal visitations by Jesus or angels and life-changing visions. Satan's kingdom is weakening due to the powerful impact of these unsolicited experiences where there is no missionary activity. So his new strategy is to delude populations into thinking that world peace can only be achieved by combining all faith systems into one grand interfaith church. That's why the cross became huge.

Action commenced from the heavenlies in scene two, so we can surmise that God is in charge of things now. The devil thinks he is navigating events on earth, but he is merely God's pawn unwittingly performing His will as he has done throughout history [Genesis 50:20].

Beginning with one person, Jesus, the church has grown into an enormous religion paralleled only by the shocking meteoric rise of the Islamic religion due to its recent heavy infiltration in the west. Both religions claim billions of members and both claim to be the fastest growing religious group on the planet. Christianity teaches that Jesus is the Son of God and He is the only way to heaven; and Islam teaches that God has no Son and becoming a Muslim is the only way to heaven. How can they both be right?

Spiritual things are not known through the physical senses. They must be accepted by faith. The scientific method of learning through observation, testing, and conclusion does not lend itself to finding God. He is a spirit and cannot be proven directly with our physical senses. The best proof of the truth of a faith system is its ability to predict the future. The Christian Bible wins this challenge hands down.

No other religious book can match the Bible's prolific prophecies regarding things to come. In fact, the God of the Bible scoffs at any god that would not enter into this arena of proof of merchandise. He declares that He has not spoken in secret, in a dark place the things to come [Isaiah 45:19], and He dares and heckles other religions to produce prophetic utterances that can be tested:

Isaiah 41:21-25
21 Produce your cause, saith the Lord; bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob.
22 Let them bring them forth, and shew us what shall happen: let them shew the former things, what they be, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or declare us things for to come.
23 Shew the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that ye are gods:...

In the Old Testament there are well over a thousand prophecies about a coming Messiah, an anointed teacher, Savior, and King. Jesus' first appearance as Savior fulfilled over three hundred of them to the letter. He will fulfill the rest as King in short order. The statistical probability of 300 happening by chance in one individual is off the charts meaning that He is who He said He is, God's Son, and He did what He was sent to do, save the world through forgiveness of sins at the cross.

Why did God send Him on His mission of deliverance from sin? He came and died just in case you, a sinful person, wanted to approach an unapproachable holy God. If you did, (God does not force Himself on anyone) you would have something to bargain with – the blood of Jesus.

A condemned man must pay the law’s debt be it years of hard labor or death. The wages of sin is death because God told Adam he would die if he disobeyed the command to keep his hands off God’s property, the tree of knowledge. He disobeyed and died. Now, death lurks at the door of every person’s exit from this world because they are the offspring of Adam and have inherited his sin nature. We have nothing with which to bargain when we shed our earth suits, nothing that would qualify sinful, unholy beings to cross over the divide into a holy heaven.

But praise God, Jesus paid for us all the debt owed sin – death. Because He lived a sinless life [2 Corinthians 5:21] and did not inherit Adam’s tainted blood, having been born of a virgin, He was qualified to cross the barrier separating sinful people from an unapproachable God. After Jesus took His pure blood to heaven, God accepted it and declared that anyone who would use Jesus’ pure blood in substitution for their sinful blood could cross the divide into heaven. This is the beautiful fragrance of salvation, my friend. Jesus’ blood bridges the divide caused by sin. Having nothing to bargain with, to argue for our crossing the barrier separating sin from holiness and avoiding eternal death, God mercifully offered to men and women the blood of His Son Jesus as an entrée into His holy Presence.

Fragrance of Love

Christ and Mary Magdalene- Albert Edelfelt 1890

Herein is love. Not that we loved God but that He so loved us that He gave His only Son to die for the sins of the world [1 John 4:10]. One would think that it is enough for a loving God to be merciful to sinful people and allow them into heaven when they did not deserve to be there. But no! Grace overrode mercy and took us deeper into the magnificence of God. Mere pardon of sins should make a criminal appreciative of exoneration. But what if after being mercifully forgiven of a crime, the criminal were adopted into the family and made a joint heir with the son of the one who was being robbed? What mercy!!! What grace!!! What manner of love is this ...that we should be called the sons of God... [1 John 3:1]???

God has provided the way, but you must make the choice – will you take your own sinful blood passed down from Adam as your visa into heaven or will you take Jesus' pure blood passed down from His holy Father. Let me show you what happens if you choose your own blood.

Matthew 22:2, 11-14
2 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,...
11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:
12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless (
muzzled without portfolio to speak because he had the wrong visa and knew the proper attire but refused to wear it.)
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

The wedding garment in the above parable is a robe of righteousness [Isaiah 61:10] that Jesus will give to anyone who takes Him as Lord. The cost of this garment is the blood of Jesus spilled at the cross. When God gave His only Son to a tortuous death, He paid a heavy price to give everyone a visa, an invitation to His Son's wedding. Hence, no one will be allowed into heaven's gates to the marriage feast without the proper attire and a valid visa.

The Contaminated Cross
The Church
Although the church still maintains a clean façade as revealed by the straight edges and smooth surface of the cross Jeannette saw, God wanted her and all of us to see what was on the inside. So he brought it especially close to reveal its inner core.

At first I thought the beautifully woven branches on the interior spoke about the church's beauty and magnificence as God's Kingdom, but the Holy Spirit kept impressing me to look again meaning there was something I was not getting. After meditating awhile, the Spirit reminded me that the Shekinah glory left the Temple in Ezekiel's day because the message of the Temple had become contaminated with all sorts of heathen practices.

Ezekiel 8
1 ...the hand of the Lord God fell there upon me.
3 ...brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem...
5 Then said he unto me...
6 ...Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here...
7 And he brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, behold a hole in the wall.
8 Then said he unto me, Son of man, dig now in the wall: and when I had digged in the wall, behold a door.
9 And he said unto me, Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here.
10 So I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, portrayed upon the wall round about.
12 Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, The Lord seeth us not; the Lord hath forsaken the earth.
13 He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do.
14 Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the Lord's house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz (
a Babylonian god).
15 Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations than these.
16 And he brought me into the inner court of the Lord's house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the Lord, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.
17 Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: (
to 'sell' them to their enemies) ...
18 Therefore will I also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.

Shades of the Emerging Church! From the above, it is clear that God does not like His worship contaminated by heathen practices. The things mentioned were contaminating worship of God in Ezekiel's day. The people were blind to the fact that anything was wrong. The question today is how close are we to committing the same error of judgment in bringing political correctness and worldliness into the church? Are worldly activities, such as Christian hard rock music, and transcendental meditative practices and yoga, confusing and contaminating Christian canon?

And what about the myriad Bible translations which are a veritable smorgasbord of meanings to nearly every passage of Scripture? Is choice of Bible important? Does a panoply of paraphrastic translations aid the enemy 14? They certainly cause confusion.

Jeannette's vision illustrates that some things being entertained by the church are not pleasing the Lord. It is noteworthy that Jesus remarked that many would say in the judgment that they did mighty miracles in His name, but He would have to respond, "I never knew you" [Matthew 7:21-23]. Moreover, newspaper headlines are revealing that many Christian denominations are winking at practices unacceptable only a few years ago. Are Christian conferences that are unhesitant to reject envoys and adepts from faith groups clearly not Christian in walk or talk provoking God's anger?

Admixture of creeds leads to confusion and hence, deception, and obstructs the narrow path to heaven. As I prayed about the flaming cross, the Holy Spirit revealed to me that contamination of the gospel through personalizing truth is the real reason God split the sky with His laser beam engulfing the Tribulation Church with flames. This Church's diversified gospel is provoking the Lord's anger as His people did in Ezekiel's day. And as usual, He will use a foreign nation, the Antichrist kingdom, to perform His will in destroying it.

After the church is decimated by the Antichrist, God will rise up to the prey and begin pouring out his wrath upon earth with awesome trumpet and bowl judgments. As in the Exodus judgments, they will not all come at once, but will keep mounting up until the earth is cleansed of wickedness by the purifying fires of God's jealousy against sin.

...devoured with the fire of my jealousy

Zephaniah 3:8

8 Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the Lord, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.

The Church Aflame

Considering that the prepared church has been taken to heaven at the start of the tribulation, and considering that there are professed believers left behind who missed the rapture, who are the people constituting the burning cross? I submit that by correlating pertinent Scriptures related to endtime matters, this is the Laodicean Church in the tribulation, the church that Jesus kept on knocking at the door (Revelation 3:19-20) trying to get in so He could warn them to repent before the hour of temptation He spoke about in Revelation 3:10 occurred.

This Tribulation Church is composed of two groups of Christians. One group aligns with Jewish Bible believers who flee to the wilderness after being instructed about world events by the 144,000 sealed evangelistic witnesses of Revelation chapter seven. This elect remnant composed of Jewish and Gentile believers will be supernaturally protected and nourished by God for 3½ years awaiting Christ's return to end Armageddon.

The other larger group of Laodiceans will suffer martyrdom as the Antichrist maliciously hunts them down for beheading because they refuse to take his mark and worship him.

The Church Aflame
Revelation 20:4
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Is it possible that the Antichrist will be a Muslim considering the fact that the tribulation martyrs will be beheaded, a method of execution still used today by the Islamic religion? Also, the Antichrist is referred to as 'the Assyrian' six times in the Old Testament, and we know that Syria, Iraq, and Jordan comprise the area of the Assyrian Empire of old.

With the faithful Philadelphian Church believers safe in heaven, their restraining power as salt and light working against evil will be gone. Because love will wax cold [Matthew 24:12], iniquity will abound. Hence, the way will be open for wickedness to work wrath to the full.

The interfaith movement prior to the tribulation will produce the Tribulation Church made up of all faiths and belief systems. It will be a mosaic conglomeration of people sporting their own brand of religion such as seeker-friendly churches do. The Emerging Church is already a living testimonial that orthodoxy to patristic doctrines is becoming passé.

Perhaps the newest experiment merging diverse faith groups was launched in the Fall of 2008. It clearly illustrates what satan is up to in altering the face of the church.

Faith House is an inter-religious community project whose patrons gather twice a month in various locations including the living rooms of homes. The 'living room' ethos seems best suited to deepen people's personal spiritual journeys by fostering experiences in interpersonal relationships that will hopefully reduce "holy awkwardness" and enhance a commitment to developing god-like qualities and behaviors. If it sounds nebulous, it is.

Living Room Gatherings

These Living Room Gatherings purposely meet in homes as well as other venues not given to any particular religion to release the tense stuffiness church buildings often foster. A comfortable space seems more likely to meld together relationships in a society of many faiths. Diverse traditions can become more understandable in the safe space of someone's sanctuary – the space where a person's soul is revealed through the objects surrounding him or her. Meeting in living rooms was the primary way that Christianity caught on. And it is thought that perhaps this might bring all faiths together and change the world for better.

Faith House's primary goal is to heal the world through social justice much the same way as the P.E.A.C.E. initiative of Rick Warren's Saddleback Church. Let me give you a sense of the flavor of mixing diverse faiths. In April of this year, the Washington Times newspaper reported on Faith House Manhattan's meeting ...

"...the guest list is a carnival of religious belief and creed. An Islamic-Sufi dervish greets you at the door, but the program director, an Episcopalian, makes the announcements. A rabbi, a female Muslim and a Seventh-day Adventist share leadership of the meeting. ...Faith House is probably the only multireligious church in the country, but its jumble of faiths and practices is becoming less unusual in today's religious marketplace." [Underlining and bolding mine]

As you can see from the above, the Tribulation Church will consist of a mix of all sorts of belief systems. It's the union of people who believe mostly in the power of ideas, relationships, and acts of service. Jeannette noted this trend of fusing morals and dogmas when she noticed beneath the cross' surface, tree branches intertwined. The Emerging Church will not only be a fusion of Christian creeds but will also consist of other faith based groups such as Faith House. This will be the summum bonum of satan's cosmic system – his awkward attempt to counterfeit good in order to be worshipped.

Grafting differing faiths together works for awhile, but man's sinful nature unfortunately undercuts lofty goals as was witnessed in the first century of Christianity when self-serving men invaded church groups, introduced Gnostic heretical ideas, and separated believers by demanding allegiance to their own contrived systems of thought. Interfaith projects are doomed to failure as Revelation 17 prophesies. Initially, the Antichrist man of sin will permit amalgamation of faiths for the purpose of securing his foothold in ruling. But midway into the tribulation period he will claim godhood and will destroy anyone who refuses to worship him.

The cross in this vision was merely symbolic of a congregation of disjointed people devoted to one cause – man's persistent desire to find his own way to heaven. Many adepts in the New Religious Order of interfaithism will be seduced into believing the lie of the man of sin, take his mark, and die [2 Thessalonians 2:11-12]. Others will not. The Antichrist's demand for worship is the catalyst that ignites the cross.

When the prostitute church explodes and perishes [Revelation 17:16], self-serving worship will end. The love and peace that the cross symbolizes will be consumed by the fire of satan's jealousy and hate. You do not want to be around when the Antichrist shows his colors and begins his dictatorial march to rid the world of Christians and Jews. They will be sought out everywhere for extermination from the earth. To add to the melee of confused people, the world will be experiencing geological upheavals, ecological tragedies such as the Gulf oil disaster, and eruptions of civil disorder that will bring about plagues and scarcity of the basic needs of men. Are you ready to go with Jesus when He comes to rescue His bride?

Dear one,

make all haste to end indifference to things so solemn as the Biblical prophetic proclamations of the end of the age.

Repeatedly we are told that before He allows sin and satan to run his last race in decimating God's creation, Jesus will come as a thief in the night to snatch out of harm's way that which belongs to Him, His beloved bride. The resolve of people to endure persecution and depravation will be severely tested. The evil spirit of the devil will consume the Antichrist and drive him with unrelenting rancor and bitterness to obliterate the church.

The intensity of God's disdain toward His church becoming the seat of the interfaith movement is revealed in the flaming cross of this vision. The laser beam from heaven bringing fire to the cross symbolizes God 'selling' His church to the devil who destroys it.

I exhort you not to miss out on the glories of the world to come. Sanctify yourself, stay alert, and be ready because the coming of our Lord is near. Receive Jesus as your Savior for He loves you and longs to have your admiration and devotion. You may ask why He does not force people to love Him if He is all powerful and loves them so much. The short answer is because God is love and sovereign love is not a dictator.

Jude 21-25
21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

God is confirming in this vision that we are in the last days of Bible prophecy. What Jeannette reported is what God sees happening in His church today. Everything in the vision has been foretold and recorded in Scripture adjudicating its alignment with Scripture. The message is a warning to people with eyes to see that Jesus could return at any moment. Prophecies are being fulfilled with surgical precision. God said My counsel shall stand and I will do all my pleasure [Isaiah 46:10], and He is hastening His word to perform it [Jeremiah 1:12].

The world is truly a stage and the scene is Jerusalem. The plot has thickened since Turkey is realigning itself with the east and the United States is planning to join the Alliance of Civilizations, an extremely hostile organization toward Israel. The pressure is on for the Hebrews to cry out for their Messiah to come save them, which they must do before He will come.

Hosea 5:15
I will go and return to my place till they acknowledge their offence and seek my face in their affliction they will seek me early.
Statue of Liberty and The Eagle of USA
The size of the eagle signified that the USA – America being the head of the Philadelphian and Laodicean Church -- is the locus of activity and the focus of reproof. Because the United States is transforming her worldview from a Christian perspective to one more in keeping with globalist goals, she is the target to whom this message is sent. God is not pleased with her.

America's shift in worldview was epitomized by President Obama's speech in Cairo, Egypt in June of 2009 where he said that the United States was now one of the largest Muslin nations on the world stage and no longer a Christian nation. This change is being reflected by this administration's curtailing military and technological support to Israel. Transformation of the United States' emblem eagle into a vulture denotes God's attitude regarding this worldview change.

Because the messages we publish must be backed by Scripture so that they do not become speculation but rather true omens from the throne of God, I can only offer the following as an interesting aside from the Holy Spirit's interpretation of the vision. Regardless of how one looks upon the uplifted feather as a signifying act of transformation, the outcome remains the same. The Tribulation Church must go up in flames.

Is it possible that the single feather Jeannette saw raised up signifies that the eagle was transformed into a phoenix? The mythological phoenix bird resembled an eagle the difference being a plume in the back of its head. Could the uplifted feather demarcate the plume? Perhaps the phoenix is a subliminal hope to the reality of the vulture's instincts – preying upon death and decay. In mythology, the phoenix bird lives exactly 500 years and then burnes itself to death on a pyre from which another phoenix bird arises out of the ashes. This notion symbolizes death and resurrection, i.e., the appearance of a new world order.

It is not farfetched therefore, although unsupported by Scripture, to view the eagle's transformation into a phoenix as inferring the end of the United State's significant governmental epoch as the leader of the Philadelphian church and the world. How so? Given that the American hemispheres were brought into western cultural alliances by Columbus' journey westward in 1492, the beginning of the 16th century, and given that we are now at the start of the 21st century, 500 years hence, could the raising of the eagle's feather signify that a new world order is arising? Perhaps, but which order? Is it the New World Order of the globalists or the New World Order of the Kingdom Age?

Notwithstanding how you take the new order of things, it is a blending of governmental policy and religious creed. On the one hand, the spiritual prostitute church of Revelation 17 rides the back of a new world regime, and on the other, Jesus' rule of righteousness in the Millennial Age intermingles politics with spirituality as well. So, no matter which way the wind blows, the Tribulation Church is destined for destruction by a host political establishment that hates her, or she is judged and found wanting by the Millennial Ruler who eliminates her with tribulational fires. I report, you decide.

Because the eagle looked directly into the eyes of Jeannette, the vision is addressed especially to the church in the United States whose leadership is looked to worldwide for direction. God is looking for intercessors for America. Hopefully, He will find enough because it is her only hope of survival. Will you answer the call to be one? As in the days of David, the plague has begun, and it's significant that it has started at the door to her economic power, the mouth of the Mississippi River in the Gulf of Mexico.

God loves America and wants her to repent. Prosperity and success is not dependent upon size nor wealth but upon allegiance to God Almighty. As the prophets of old warned God's client nation Israel about what would happen if she did not repent, even so God has sent this message to remind His people in America about the outcome of the Laodicean Church of the tribulation [Revelation 3:14ff].

Jesus is knocking on the Laodicean door and appealing to them to repent so He can help them. But if they do not repent, as we have seen, He must 'sell' them to their enemies. In keeping with Biblical prophecy, this vision shows that the Tribulation Church does not repent but dies whereupon birds of prey feast on her liberality and toleration forcing God to 'sell' her to her enemies who hate her and burn her with fire [Revelation 17:16].

Because 'consensus' is fast becoming the final umpire of truth, and not the Bible, God is giving people over to delusion to believe lies. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness [2 Thessalonians 2:11-12].

The blazing cross signals the end of the deluded church filled with thermometer Christians who reflect what is. Wouldn't you rather be a thermostat Christian actively promoting truth? I urge you to carefully consider the course you are on to make sure it leads to heaven.

As this website shows, Jeannette and I have been called to a uniquely cooperative work for the purpose of exhorting people to watch and pray and stay prepared for rapture. For fifteen years we have been helping to pluck souls out of the tribulational fires. Yet, if just one person responds and repents to be ready for rapture, it has been worth all the work devoted to getting God's messages out. All of us have only one opportunity to fulfill our destiny, and Jeannette and I take seriously the reward attached thereto.

Can a price be put on a person's soul? If God notes each and every sparrow that falls to the ground, of how much more worth is each one of us? You are precious and valuable in God's eyes, and we at Whitestones Ministries consider you precious and valuable too. Keep looking up because the way things are going, imminent departure is more than a byword.

Sweet Angel
