Continuation 2 Interpretation: Two Streams

If Antioch became the capital of Christianity in the first and second centuries, why would anyone go to Alexandria, which is mentioned in Scripture in negative terms, to find God's authorized text? It defies common sense to allege that God's true stream of purifying waters should come from a center noted for its syncretistic religious ideology. Antioch had become a large cultural center also but had not built up a reputation as a melting pot of ideas as had Alexandria. Moreover, just a cursory look at a map will show Antioch the geographical center of the world and not Alexandria. Being the hub of three continents it stands to reason that God would choose the most central place geographically as well as geopolitically to launch His most important work of evangelizing the world. Hence, the Antiochan text type is disclosed by the Bible itself - the Bible being its own commentary - to be the true, pure stream of God's Word.

Antioch: Capital of Christianity
Implications For Drinking From Polluted StreamsCup

All English versions of the Bible since the King James extract from many sources to render their translation of God's Word. In using a variety of sources the translators have taken an eclectic approach in building a foundation for their work. Nonetheless they must have a reason for choosing the words they use in the writing. For example, they might use as the source for their choice of a given phrase any one of over 5,000 old manuscripts in existence running the gamut from fragments to an entire book, the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Lectionares, archaeological discoveries, etc. Since God is not the author of confusion nor will He allow Himself to be perjured, it is a serious matter to rearrange or mess with His Words. Read Revelation 22:18,19 to see just how serious it is. Hence, we had better have a good reason to exchange our time-tested Authorized Version of the Bible for a newer unproven one.

Dead Sea Scrolls

May I suggest one look at what happens to any pure substance after one slight drop of poison or error is introduced into it. The whole becomes an admixture the harmfulness of which is a measure of the amount of impure material in attendance. Will one die from imbibing such? It depends upon a number of factors the greatest of which is whether or not the stream has corrupted the essential doctrines concerning the deity of Jesus, His work on the cross, and His eternal Sonship of God. If one drinks long enough from a polluted well, it is a matter of time before he becomes sick and dies. Are we too far astray from Jeannette's vision to remember that the clothes of the people were initially in good shape and that their work boots were in good order with heavy soles? After they began to walk in the polluted shallow waters of the upper stream, Jeannette noted that their clothes had become tattered and dirty and the thick soles of their shoes were not just cracked and perforated but were completely missing. If shoes represent the gospel of peace (with God) as Ephesians 6:15 tells us, we can see that these people in the vision had lost their direction. This part of their armor, the gospel of peace with God was gone. They were at peace with God, but was God at peace with them? Note that Jesus quit leading them and reappeared from the woods to teach Jeannette about the significance of the deeper pool of water.

This vision is a sobering testimony about what happens when believers start walking in streams not "Authorized." The Authorized Version of the Bible was not a serendipitous title given out of the imagination of men's hearts. In my opinion God engineered (authorized) the translation in order to see to it that His infallible Word would be copied correctly and His integrity protected. [See Addendum 1 for historical support on the issue of drinking from polluted or poisoned water.]

Decisions Have Consequences

An illustrious illustration of the outworking of this vision can be found in Solomon's life. He started out pure and with a vigilant heart to follow God. Sadly, he trifled with God's commandments. He must have been asleep or not paying attention when he penned God's words of wisdom in like manner that the disciples in the cabin were snoozing as Jesus taught from His Word. Israeli kings were expressly forbidden to go to Egypt to engage in commerce [Deuteronomy 17:16]. Not only did he go to the forbidden place but he bought horses and obtained a foreign wife, Pharoah's daughter - both no/nos [Deuteronomy 17:14-16; 1 Kings 3:1].

King Solomon and Pharoah's daughter
A Poor Choice --

By chapter 11 of 1 Kings we learn that his heart had departed from wholly following God, and by verses 5-8 he was worshipping other gods. Solomon had received God's Word and was the channel through whom it was disseminated. The sleeping giants in the cabin were receiving the Word from Jesus, but they chose to doze and later to wander off into the murky waters of the shallow stream. Did God overlook Solomon's blatant refusal to adhere to the commandments of God? Hear this:

I King 11:9-12

9 And the LORD was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from the LORD God of Israel, which had appeared unto him twice,

10 And had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods: but he kept not that which the LORD commanded.

11 Wherefore the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.

12 Notwithstanding in thy days I will not do it for David thy father's sake: but I will rend it out of the hand of thy son. (KJV)

What a sad commentary concerning the great Solomon. Will there be a similar epitaph to the slumbering giants who do not wholly follow the Lord's Word? Can compromising Scripture for the sake of unity be comparable to not wholly following God as Solomon? I personally would not want to chance it. According to this vision the men of great stature walked off into the distance (eternity?) wearing garments that needed repair. All the foregoing passages of Scripture ought to alert us to search out the source of the Bible we are using. Since the Bible is our only source of knowledge concerning godliness, we need to make doubly sure we are swimming in the deeper pool of crystal clear waters.

Jesus came back to tell Jeannette, His "little flock," how to move into the place of holiness. After He called her name, Jeannette knew for the first time that the man walking out of the forest was Jesus. [Mary Magdalene did not know it was Jesus either until He called her by name [John 20:15,16]]. Anyone will know the Master's voice after spending quality time in studying the Word. Knowing the Master's voice is one thing, obeying it is another. Solomon knew the commandments were from God because He appeared to Solomon twice. Balaam knew God had told Him not to curse Israel. Yet they both willfully and blatantly refused God's advice, and they both ended up losers - hopefully they did not lose their salvation. Only God knows.

A Good Choice--

A change of clothing is needed to move into the place of Godliness. Jeannette was instructed to remove all her old clothes and get into the pure water. She did, and she was changed. Only pure water from God can cleanse a person. "Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you" [John 15:3]. Removing the old clothes denoted repentance. Remember that she hesitated before jumping into the water? This is the place where each one of us makes a conscious decision to follow Jesus. That's repentance. We recognize we have a general moral shortcoming and make a decision to change. Jeannette said in the vision she and the others had to make a "conscious choice" as to which stream to walk in. Our choice is important because the only place we can see how dirty our clothes are, how sinful we are, is in the Bible, and it is the only place we can get cleansed.

Ephesians 5:25-26

25 ...Christ ...loved the church, and gave himself for it;

26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, (KJV)

Friend, it is my desire that you search out the matter of these two streams because according to this vision the consequences are serious. The sleeping church is not even aware that her backside is ragged and tattered due to the fact that she has been bathing in polluted water for a long time. The church started out with pure Words directly from the Lord as in the cabin scene, but along the way she lost her leader when she chose the wrong stream in which to walk. Wading in the murky waters of Eastern mysticism can be dangerous. This problem is not new. The letters of Paul, John, Peter, Jude, and James admonish the church to beware of those who would corrupt God's written Word with false teachings. For example: "for we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God" [2 Corinthians 2:17].

Jesus cautioned that the first church of Ephesus in the very beginning of the age had left her first love [Revelation 2:4], and I believe He meant the disciples had fallen asleep like those people in the cabin and were not taking heed to protect and preserve God's pure Word. They were allowing false teachers and prophets who were not concerned about the flock of God to enter into their congregation bringing false teaching. The only way we can keep from losing what we have wrought is to stay alert, vigilant, and to stand firm against anyone who would change the Holy Writ [2 John 8-11].

You must determine for yourself which Bible is the pure one. It is our hope that this vision from the Lord will awaken you to the fact that not just any Bible will do. Much information is available. You just have to find it. I frequently used our local Interloan library to search out this matter. I was twenty years in the Word before I became aware that there were two streams of biblical waters. Thankfully, I had been drinking out of the pure stream all that time. Several times I tried to change Bibles but the Holy Spirit never would let me. At each publication I would think maybe this one would be better. It wasn't. Then I decided I needed to know why the Spirit would not let me change. The time has come for me to help others become aware of what I have learned, that there is a serious problem associated with the indiscriminate propagation of Bibles. The surface problem is that it is creating confusion that weakens one's ability to contend for the faith, and the underlying problem is that the foundational rock on which the church has historically built has become shifting sand. [See Addendum 2 for a short synopsis of the underlying problem.]

The consequences from the continued use of an inferior text are not irreversible. All it takes is one decision to dive into the pure stream of holy water, and the Spirit will reclothe you. Do not look to the sleeping giants to inform you. They have been asleep at the wheel and do not know that the Bible one drinks from will affect the garments one wears. Proof of this is witnessed by their endorsement of the ecumenical church, which is already poised for inclusion into the one World Religious Order. Do you think this has come about by happenstance? As stated earlier the devil knows that the first tactical procedure in a military operation is to cut the supply line. If he cannot cut it off entirely, then he will do everything he can to weaken the power in the supply source through deception. Do not take my word for it. Find out for yourself if these things are so. You will be eternally glad that you did.

Addendum 1

Hear the words of Dean Burgon, one of the foremost scholars of the last century, a man of unmarred reputation in textual criticism and Greek, as he critiques the unpublished, untested, and unscrutinized Greek text constructed in secret by Drs. Westcott and Hort, which was literally and surreptitiously forced upon the committee of men who acquiesced to the clandestine game plan devised by the same authors, the same men who were commissioned to revise the King James Bible in 1870, and who were supposed to make as few changes as was necessary - about 200 or so in reality - in order to update the AV:

...It is, however, the systematic depravation of the underlying Greek which does so grievously offend me. For this is nothing else but a poisoning of the River of Life at its Sacred Source. Our Revisers stand convicted of having deliberately rejected the words of Inspiration in every page, and of having substituted for them fabricated readings which the church has long since refused to acknowledge, or else has rejected, with abhorrence..."(Boldness, italics, and underlining mine) (Cited in Which Bible Can We Trust? Compiled by Les Garrett, p. 170.)

Immediately after publication of the Revised Version of the Bible in 1881, Dr. Burgon (1883) single-handedly refuted with hard evidence the 36,000 alterations made by the Rivisers in their publication. He was soon joined by other notable scholars and has subsequently been supported by recent historical discoveries to have been right in castigating Drs. Westcott and Hort's Greek Text as having deceptively mutilated instead of corrected the beloved "Old" King James Bible. What you see on the surface always has an underlying foundation be it sand or rock. It is now 100 years since Dr. Burgon penned his analysis of Westcott and Hort's Greek text and recent discoveries of old manuscripts have devastated the Greek Text of W. & H. to the point that as many as 500 alterations that were made in the King James Bible by the new English versions, namely, the NASB for one, have had to be rescinded and returned to the readings which were in the Authorized Version in the first place. Dr. Burgon predicted that this would be the case, and he was right.

Note that Dr. Burgon contended that Westcott and Hort's spurious Greek Text poisoned the River of Life as he termed it at its source. Is not this what we gather from the narrative of this endtime vision from the Lord? It is apparent that God was directing our attention to the underlying Greek source from which the new Christian Bibles are constructed. Jeannette saw the polluted, scummy, dark stream of water on the topside whereas the clear pure stream was below it, but the topmost stream did not proceed from the pure one underlying it. Rather it started in midair indicating a disconnect between the two streams. Hence, the superficial water in which the sleeping giants walked did not come from the pure stream below it but was devised by fallen men in a fallen world and not from the deeper waters of the Holy Spirit of God. And in reality that is exactly what we find in the real world of Bible construction. Only the Authorized Version of the Bible produced in 1611 on the authority of King James disseminates entirely from the received Greek text called the Majority Text, providentially preserved by God and passed down through the age from Syria, not Egypt. Because all new Bibles constructed dip into the murky Alexandrian source of water, they are suspect as the cause for the marching leaders' garments having changed.

When the leaders should have been listening to Jesus' pure words that are deposited in the Antiochan "Sacred Source" as Dean Burgon called it, words translated into English in the King James Bible, they were sleeping and have not discovered the testimony of men of good report such as Dr. Frederick Scrivener, Canon Cook, C. H. Spurgeon, et al, in the day when Westcott and Hort's Greek text was thrust upon the world. If the sleeping giants would pay attention, they would know that the majority of evidence is against W. & H.'s Greek text as a trustworthy underlying source for Bible production. [Confer Addendum 2 for more on this.] Nevertheless, some of our leaders are attentive, praise God. Henry Morris and others on the New King James Version committee that produced the NKJV have renounced attachment to it and have issued warnings in print and otherwise to the unwary to stay away from that stream because it is polluted. Dr. Frank Logsdon, executive director of the NASB and a member of the committee producing the Amplified Bible did likewise regarding the two versions with which he was associated when he learned about the history of the W. & H. Greek text underlying those Bibles.

The call from God is not to condemn anyone who uses the new Bibles but to alert the "little flock" not to drink from them because an untrained eye cannot discern which verse or passage has been tampered with to the hurt of the reader. The vision attests to this fact because the leaders' garments were disheveled and in disarray after stepping in the dark water, and if leaders are not exempt from becoming a mess, what can the sheep expect? Intellectual I.Q. does not equal spiritual I.Q. Therefore the best advice is to let the Bible be its own commentary as well as dictionary. Time does not permit to show how this works, but I have found that the Bible will define its own words, very often within a few verses up or down or a chapter or two away. For a quick example, Psalm 25:9 defines meekness: "The meek will he guide in judgment; and the meek will he teach his way." There we have it, meekness is teachability. Let God Himself define Himself. We must resist all tendency to deal with the Bible naturalistically as other books are dealt with because the natural mind cannot know the things of the spirit for they are spiritually discerned (1 Corinthians 2:11,14). We must allow the Bible to give its own self-disclosure of the One who wrote it.

In sum the two streams in the dream point to different spiritual waters. Because they were not parallel to each other but rather tiered means that one was foundational to the other, the lower one being the underlying Greek text and the upper one the English derivative. And since there was space between them, it signified that they were flowing in different channels. The people in the forefront of the line represent the monolithic church with its highly visible leaders who strolled in shallow contaminated water that could not cleanse. The "little flock" in the rear portrayed by Jeannette was enthusiastically watching to make sure they were tracing the right leaders. They chose to swim in pure, crystal-like deep water in defiance of those ahead and were cleansed as a result. Thus, the admonition from God to the church I believe is to make sure that the foundation to the Bible one uses is Authorized by God, for "If the foundation be destroyed, what can the righteous do?" (Psalm 11:9).

Addendum 2

This endtime message was sent from the Lord to emphasize the fact that there is developing in the Christian world confusion resulting from the excessive publication of so-called Christian Bibles. In this world of overchoice believers are bombarded with books claiming to be God's Holy Word when in fact there is little if anything holy about them. Some are unclear about critical doctrines concerning Jesus such as His deity, and many give the impression that God is pleased when we look like, talk like, and act like the world in order to win the lost. If this is true, then there is no place for sanctification, which means separation from the world for the purpose of walking with a holy God. "...As he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation" [KJV] [1 Peter 1:15,16].

If there is one thing clear from this vision, it is the fact that there are two streams of biblical water in the world, two sources from which all Christian Bibles originate. Our job as diligent seekers of God is to determine which stream is pure and therefore which Bible is the true Word of God.

For lack of space it is impossible to deal with these two streams properly. Many volumes have been written on the subject and are available if anyone wants to pursue the matter in depth. I would be happy to direct any reader of this vision to a few sources of understandable books on the development of the Christian Bible if he/she would like. Use the email function. However, for those who are not so inclined to engage the chase, let me concisely explain the problem involved in the production of a Bible and why I believe most are actually commentaries on God's Words.

It was stated in the Interpretation of Two Streams that there are over 5,000 pieces of extant manuscripts from which to readdress any verse of the Bible. Some of these are mere fragments of old manuscripts no bigger than an inch square while a few are entire books. The use of any one of them is arbitrary. There are three main Greek texts, however, from which modern translators produce their versions of the Bible. They are the Received Text manuscript (called the Textus Receptus or The Majority Text), the Vatican manuscript (called "B" or the Vaticanus), and the Sinai manuscript (called "Aleph" or the Sinaiticus).

The three primary sources named underlie all the Christian Bibles published within the last couple of centuries. The problem is deciding which of these three foundational manuscripts is the true one holding God's original words and thoughts. The King James Bible of 1611 was translated from Stephens' Greek text (1550 AD), which was the predecessor of the Textus Receptus (1624 AD) called the Majority Text underlying the King James. It has been shown that these two Greek texts agree with each other so closely that they can be said to be one and the same, which is the reason that the Majority Text or Textus Receptus is claimed to underlie the KJV although it was published 13 years later. It is because the majority of the 5,000 plus old manuscripts in existence are in agreement with each other (over 95%) that this text type was given the name of Majority Text. It is also known as the Antiochan text type, one of the biblical streams found in this vision.

The problem in Bible selection is rooted in a point of law called the rule of evidence. Basically it speaks to the agreement of the evidence in a court of law. Remember how the Sanhedrin could not find witnesses to agree on anything wrong Jesus had done? All they could do was claim His alleged kingship was in conflict with Caesar's (John 19:12). Space obviates discussion of this point regarding agreement of evidence so let me simply quote a famous attorney who himself had to search out the problem of Bible selection:

Holy Bible

We propose, therefore, to examine this rule of evidence with some care later on; and in that connection we will endeavor to show why we believe that the principles which controlled in the compilation of the Textus Receptus are far more conformable to the sound rules of evidence, and hence more likely to lead to right conclusions, than that adopted by Lachmann and his successors. (Spoken by Philip Mauro, a member of the bar of the Supreme Court of the United States and one of the foremost patent lawyers of his day. Cited in Garrett, Ibid, p. 142.)

Philip Mauro (1859-1952). The Ready Writer in 1926

From this quote we can see that it is a matter of serious magnitude to decide which pieces of evidence to use when there is disagreement amongst them. Textual critics have found as many as 3,000 disagreements between the Vaticanus and Sinaiticus manuscripts of the Alexandrian text type in the four synoptic gospels alone. If Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John do not agree with each other in these two important foundational manuscripts of modern Bibles that start from the same place, what happens when all the other books of the Bible are redressed by B and Aleph? The disagreements are astronomical and have produced numerous alterations in the time-honored King James. It has been reported that the NIV has deleted 64,000 words from the King James Version in its reproduction of the Bible and the Revisers in 1881 made 36,000 alterations when commissioned to make the fewest possible changes in the A.V. while updating it. What would they have done if given a free hand? Could there be that much wrong with a book from which thousands of people have been saved and for which multitudes of others have forfeited their lives?

How does the foregoing "translate" into our vision and its interpretation? This night vision has revealed that there exists a real problem in connection with the water holes from which our Bibles are derived. As always we must look to the Scriptures to find counsel from God. I believe that the Holy Spirit penned God's attitude about the matter in the passages of Scripture that speak of the two cities of origin from which the streams came. The interpretive texts of this vision for the words Antioch, Syria and Alexandria, Egypt hold the key to unlocking this revelation knowledge from the Lord. Without God's voice we would be lost in a sea of higher criticism, the likes of which has spawned the many bibles we see today and which has reduced the Bible to a mere book needing supplementation from history, philosophy, psychology, and science.

Friend, if there is a choice of Bibles, it is incumbent upon each person to select wisely from the streams. Bible authenticity is based upon hard evident and not subjective feelings. Street drugs can make one feel good temporarily, but in the long run they will kill you. The fruit Eve ate in the garden appealed to her sensibilities but it was deadly. Even though pastors of churches will be held accountable for how they counsel their flock, each believer will stand in the judgment on his own record, his own choice regarding the shepherd's advice. Notice how Jesus, who actually would like to help on judgment day, is bound to judge according to men's own choice of words meaning that each person will give a personal account of the biblical words he chose to stand upon and follow. Hear the blindfolded Jesus in the heavenly court holding the scales in His hands:

John 5:30
30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just ...(KJV)
Matthew 12:36-37

36 ...I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. (KJV)

We say what we believe; we believe and have faith in what we hear. "Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 8:17). In today's world of easy admittance to knowledge through public educational facilities we have no excuse in following a wrong Bible. Like the "little flock" in the vision we need to make a concerted effort to see if we are tracking the right leader. For the Bible says that there will be false prophets and false teachers who will not spare the flock.

2 Peter 2:1-3

1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. (KJV)

This endtime message from the Lord indicates that there is a difference in Bibles and they make a difference in our walk with the Lord. Friend, I did not send this message. The Lord did and I can only give you the Interpretation of it as I have received it from the Holy Spirit. There are not many people who have searched out the matter and can warn about drinking from contaminated streams. Paul asked his readers to pray that he would be bold in proclaiming the truth. I ask for your prayers likewise because I have had no desire to enter the public arena in the fight to save the "Old" King James Bible. Confrontation is not my style. However, this vision has constrained me not to keep silent any longer. It is not my intention to tell anyone which Bible to use. All God has called me to do is testify to what I have discovered in my Bible study about this delicate subject.

There are sincere advocates on both sides of an issue. Disagreement can be constructive if it provokes honest discussions in love. Our Father is long-suffering and gives us time to change course, but if we do not listen when He speaks, we ought not fault God. Jeannette finds no pleasure in being a prophetess of endtime messages about judgment, and I find no enjoyment writing up their interpretations. The prophets of sweetness and light who bring glad tidings of prosperity and health have all the fun. The handful who must fuse the foundation with hard sayings in order to protect the integrity of God's counsel find few friends. We only hope that this vision has helped to explain the high stakes implicated in gambling with God's Words.

Matthew 16:6 Then Jesus said unto them, "Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
