Raise Your Hand

Visitation: Sunday, January 27, 2008
By Jeannette L. Vetter

It was early Sunday morning hours way before the sun was up. I felt myself roll over slightly in bed to get comfortable. As I started to dose off to sleep I saw my self raise up (Note: I turned to see myself still asleep). But, I was awake and I was still asleep. For a slight few moments I was bewildered as to what was happening to me. In my bewilderment the room lightened to brilliant rays of light. Then I was standing at the foot of my bed, a male angel with a white robe (Note: the robe was brilliant white) as his clothing and a sash tied around his waist. He looked just like us but in a glorified state. He appeared at the end of the streams of white light that had burst into my room.

He made an announcement to me, “All those who believe in Jesus Christ of Nazareth raise your hand.” Immediately I raised my hand as high as I could (Even when I was a kid I always did this since I am so short). I looked around to see if anyone else raised their hand, then I realized I was the only one in the room. He looked directly at me and raised his hand motioning me towards him and said it as a command, “Come.” As I started to go forward and was enveloped into the light with the angel just ahead of me, I awoke suddenly in my bed. I looked around to my surprise, because I was still in my room.

Note: I am like Paul I didn’t know if I was in my body or out of my body. Every thing was so real...my answer, the brilliant light, the angel and the command to “Come”
